This new edition continued to question the notion of the “throne” through a selection of sculptural seats and contemporary works evoking moments of power, creation, leisure, and intimacy. This second edition presented pieces from the downtown+ collections, as well as creations from the emerging collectible design scene.

For the occasion, iconic pieces by Gaetano Pesce, Andrea Branzi, Archizoom, Superstudio, and Paolo Pallucco were presented in dialogue with works by Leo Orta, Wendy Andreu, and many others, alongside paintings by Miranda Webster.
